Looks to me like it is in the case backwards. The chip side should be faceing down away from the Label.

Yep, the PCB is wrongly put inside. (for the picture I asume). What -new- firmware did you put inside? The options are the standard 3.5F or -for testing- the 4.4F beta. If you didn't flash the correct file, you need to hotplug the cartridge after loading the flasher.atr Please use the 3.5F file found here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=357Later, Sijmen. Oh, yes, clean the contacts with some alcohol please.

regards Yes, haven't read my previous post? Use the 3.5F flasher, boot the disk without the cartridge, then hot-plug. If the computer freezes-up, just keep retrying. This is the only way to re-flash your cartridge on the atari system. I didn't try the new SDX version yet. You used the 1Mb+MyIDE flasher I asume? (SDX443RC_MAXFLASH_MYIDE (maxflash image)) Later, Sijmen. P.S. The other way is to pull the flashrom and program it in a programmer.

The USB MaxFlash programmer will also fix this. Worst case if you can't fix it, you can mail it to me and I will reflash it.

Don't know if the maxflash programmer supports the flash+myide module?
