Hi Kieran,

I did a quick check and the issues are fixed, thanks!
Nice tool to manage my atari-drives :-)

Later,
Sijmen.

Sorry for the delay (work had the better of me for a while again, there!).

All updated.

This is great. I hope this is the last, for awhile. I have used this with MyDOS, SDX, DD & QD partitions and it works equally well for updating CF cards and Atirra Harddrive images.
:D

I've promoted My IDE Drive Manager v0.95 out of Prerelease.

So, now it's "stable" and replaced the last stable version at:

Thanks all!

Hi Kieran,

Today I tried your myidemanager on a 2.5"drive.
Hitachi DK226a-21
2.0GB CHS:4188,16,63

The program starts and then keeps reading from the drive for 2 minutes and then [finally] continues.
Luckily I'm a patient guy, but is this normal?

Later,
Sijmen.

Sijmen,

Sorry for the delay.

Sorry, but I've not seen anything like that, though I have to admit to only having tried a relatively small number of devices.

Do you see the same kinds of delay using the command-line tool?

Hi Kieran,

I had to re-check.
commandline
\\.\physicaldrive5 -L : 27 seconds
\\.\physicaldrive5 -l : 1 second

Starting MyIDE-manager:
You get a empty outlined window for 60 seconds, then the image-list.
unclocked time seems longer ;-)

I think it has something with reading the 700+ image-names?
No problem, only the empty window could mislead users.
Perhaps a message "reading disk" would be enough.

Later,
Sijmen.
