Does anyone know if the Internal Flash MyIDE can be used with a Peterson-upgraded 320K XE? This upgrade is the NTSC "standard" 320K upgrade for the 130 XE.

The issue seems to be that both the upgrade and MyIDE use pin 30 of GTIA. I tried this combination in a known-good 320 XE that works fine with the 32-in-1. But when I install the (known-good) MyIDE, I get a black screen upon booting. (It works great in a stock 130XE.)

Any alternate connection locations for the MyIDE? Or any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Larry

I believe it should work. The o2 connection just reads the state of the o2 clock, it does not modify the signal.

If you place the rescue jumper in place to force the use of the standard XL/XE OS, does it still fail to boot?

Thanks for the reply! I'll do that and also try it in another 320K XE that I have.
