Hello all,

Maybe i'm doing something wrong but i can't initialize my "Atarimax MyIDE+ 512Mb Flash Cartridge" on my 800XL
I've tried to follow the setup guide at http://www.atarimax.com/myide/documenta ... pter1.html:

Quote:
Power up Atari first, allowing the system to reach the built in MyIDE boot menu.
If your IDE device requires external power, power on the device now and wait for "Drive is Ready" to appear on the Atari's status display.
Your MyIDE+Flash cartridge has a number of built-in programs that can be accessed by selecting "3/Fire/Maxflash" from the IDE Boot Menu.
Press "3" or access the Maxflash menu.
Select the "Mr Atari's FDISK" program from the on-screen menu.

Right after selecting FDISK i have the following message:

Any idea ?
Thanks for your help.

Okay, this issue is solved by PM.

The cartridge was used on a secam 800xl machine.
Somehow the secam machine is not compatible with flashrom-carts.

Cheers,
Sijmen.

I am trying to get a SECAM XL for testing. It is probably a simple fix, but I will need to see the signal timings.
