I'm really sorry, but I don't understand this. I'm trying to find out whether some versions of the games work better (or at all) by using the 16 meg atr:s kindly posted in the corresponding thread.

I know how to use "standard" sd-atr:s, but how can I use these 16 meg ones? Or can I? Am I supposed to transfer them to the image slots? They're too big for the image slots, right? At least MyIdetool complains "unsupported disk format".

I can transfer the atr:s to for example partition 2, but how do I boot the Atari with that image form the partition? I know, I'm really lost here... ;)

Forgive me, but I'd really need some guidance here

Hi Olli,

Actually it's not that difficult what you want. You can't write the 16MB atr's to image space. You have to write them to a partition as you suggested yourself. Choose option 3 (or press fire) in the MyIde menu and after that select option C (Picodos). In Picodos you can select a partition by pressing the numbers 1-8. After that you can browse all the dirs on the partition and select the games and start loading them by pressing fire or hitting return.

Hope this helps

Regards,
John

Thanks for the info :) I'll try copying one16meg image per partition, right? A 16 meg image is essentially a "partition image"?

Yes, you have to copy 1 16MB atr per partition.

A 16MB atr is indeed always a partition image. You can only copy standard Atari Dos size atr's like single density (90KB) or enhanced density (130KB) to image space.

Thanks, works like a charm :)
