Tomorrow, PC Xformer 3.3 goes on sale at the Toad Atarifest and will
be available next week from Atari dealers in Europe as well. I have
just put up a new demo version of PC Xformer that is in sync with
version 3.3. It is up on the PC Xformer web page at

This new demo replaces PC Xformer 2.0 and 2.5 which were based on old
source code and don't make for a good demo any more.

PC Xformer 3.3 is now the world's fastest Atari 8-bit emulator, with
support for player missile graphics, display list interrupts, GTIA
graphics, and both Atari 800 and XL/XE emulation modes.

On a 90 Mhz Pentium it runs at about 10 times the speed of a 130XE,
although there is the option to slow the emulator down to normal speed
to make certain games more playable.

As before, PC Xformer 3.3 costs $34.95. We've re-written the manual
for PC Xformer 3.3 to make it easier to read and it now includes new
demos and file transfer utilities not included before.
