Chapter 2: Driver Installation

If it not already in your CD-ROM drive, insert the USB Multi-Cart Installation CD now.
Remove the Flash Multi-Cart from any game console, then attach one end of the USB cable to the cartridge and other other directly to a free USB port on your PC.
For your initial setup and testing, please do not use a USB hub of any kind.
You should see the new hardware notification bubble appear. Note this may appear and disappear very quickly on some systems.

Wait a few seconds for the new hardware wizard to begin.
Select 'Install the Software Automatically'
Click 'Next' to continue driver installation.

The hardware installation wizard will now search your local CD-ROM drive for the appropriate drivers.
If at any time after this dialog appears you are warned that the driver is 'unsigned', press the 'Install Anyway' option to continue.

Driver installation is complete.
Press 'Finish' to exit if prompted to do so.
You can now run the Multi-Cart Studio software and your cartridge status indicator in the program should say 'CONNECTED' when the cartridge is plugged in.
