Post subject:  Micro SD card compatible with 5200?
Hello,

Does anyone know of a brand/flavor of Micro SD card that will work in the AtariMax (with Adapter)?

I've tried several and none work: Samsung, Kingston and SanDisk. The only card that works is the one that came with the cartridge.

Not sure what is different about the 5200 cartridge as the ColecoVision cartridge works just fine with each micro sd card I've tried. Any chance it's a firmware issue that can be fixed/updated?

PS - The reason I want to use a Micro SD is that I have low profile adapters that sits flush in the Atarimax and doesn't stick out like a regular SD card.

Sigh..

As it turns out, on the 5200 if you press the SD card and/or microsd adapter it can go in just a bit further than it is supposed to and to causes the contacts not to connect. So, if you gently press the SD card into the slot without it "bottoming-out" it makes contact and works.

Never had that happen before, but you learn something everyday.. :D

Good to hear it works.
I wasn't aware of such problems with SD-card/converters.
I know cartridge-slots can be to deep, touching the PCB and not the edge-connector.
Learning all the time.
