Hello, I added manuals and images to the 5200 ultimate sd card. However, when I press 3 to view the manual, it acts like 3 is double pressed. It doesn't happen on the beef drop txt file, but does on most others I've tried. Has anybody seen this? BTW, I dont think its anything to do with the controller contacts or is a controller issue. Thanks in advance! |

Here is a video to demonstrate the issue I'm having: https://youtube.com/shorts/64dmwKrCxxw Has anybody seen this? -Looking at some screenshots and manuals, like Beef Drop, works fine every time. -Looking at other screenshots and manuals, like Astro Chase or Ballblazer, always behaves like the keypad is double pressed. Hopeful to get a clue from somebody here, thanks in advance!!! |

Whereas Beef Drop is a single ROM? I suspect the menu system is getting confused when there are 2 of them. Try deleting the .a52 ROMs from the folders and see if that fixes it. |

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I did try having a directory with only one file, went with the a52 and just bin. Still has the issue, but not every time. The video shows intermittent issues. Attachment: IMG_6757.mp4.zip

Attachment: IMG_6757.mp4.zip I had reported a similar issue with the 2011 firmware. The patch I received in 2015 seemed to fix that 1,3,5 key problem but broke something else, so I backed out and just kept the original firmware. I sent an email to the admin to see if there is a newer firmware to fix the problem. Let's see. |

Steven Tucker (classics@atarimax.com), I ran some tests on the 2011-01-15 firmware for the Atari 5200 Multicart and confirm the bug reported by notwork on the AtariMax forum "Manual (3) and Images (1) key double presses" viewtopic.php?f=16&t=4325 is the same bug I reported back in 2011. If memory serves, we tried a patch in 2015 which seemed to fix the 1,3,5 button issue, but broke something else so it was backed it out. Can you take a look at this again? thx |
