Almost every XE game are in this file.

Some we couldn't convert to R16 at first.
Or done later or by others.

If you are missing some XE-games: check the rest of this thread.

hi All,

Here my conversions of Hardball, Mario Bros and Tower Toppler.

Have fun!

Games are not heavily tested, but I don't expect any issues. Notice: Tower Toppler is a prototype game with bugs, that don't have anything to do with MyIDE or mistakes in the conversion.

Not .R16 this time, but I think it is a good place to post this one.

This is THE EIDOLON ... I read someone did a request for this game. Well here it is ... a .ROM file for MyIDE ][.

I don't know the game very well, but it looks cool. Could someone who masters this game, try it out for me?

Thanks a lot
Marius

Koronis Rift

ok ... this is just an experiment.

This should be Koronis Rift for MyIDE ][ (again: load this from Fat32 loader) ...

This is a conversion I found somewhere on AtariAge, and since this is a switchable XEGS cart, I had to do a routine to handle that.

This gives a few extra cycles on bankswitching, and I know from other conversions that sometimes this results in small glitches.

Since I don't know the original game, and I don't know how to play this one, I can not tell whether this succeeded or not.

So again: please give feedback.

Atlantis Games Group released a Lode Runner (colorful) for AtariMax 1Mbit... they did some fixes on it? (No artifacting or something like that?)

Anyway... someone on AA asked me to convert that one to AtariMax.

That was a hard job, since it had self-modifying code for bankswitching. But thanks to my Turbo Freezer 2011, I was able to see how it works, and now here is my conversion.

It is BETA, since I almost can't believe it works... although it seems to work ;)

And yes... finally, I understand R16... so my conversion will be R16 from now on.

Atlantis uses standard XEGS-hardware.

Is this file free of copyrights?
Otherwise I would recommend to remove the post.

Loderunner is not from Atlantis Games Group.

He posted it on AtariAge, in a package with other games. He wrote there that it was free to do with it whatever I wanted.

It was a AtariMax 1Mbit dump. Had to do several bankswitch fixes. It was more complicated than expected and the games I converted to MyIDE ][ so far.

For who is interested, this is another version of Mario, also for MyIDE ][ of course!

This one took me also a lot of time. The AtariMax 1Mbit version of the game was using the stack as RAM for misc. routines. Due to my usual solutions the stackpointer got too low, and important code was overwritten due to that.
I found a workaround, and I guess the games runs fine now.

Have fun!

Are you on NTSC or on PAL. I just got a report from someone that he had issues on NTSC with this game.
Unfortunately I can not alter the code of the game itself. Freezes on NTSC (and not on PAL) are a problem with the game I'm afraid.

Could you describe when it freezes? I might be able to reproduce it here.

Keep em coming, I love R16, straight Atari with 64K and no messing with anything and they just work.
