Hi,

I´ve two myIDE ][ carts here. One is myself, the other from an ABBUC member. At my personal myIDE2 cart I install some years ago a SDX special version from FlashJazzCat. This works, but I haven´t the menu anymore. So I want to reflash the myBIOS with APE-loader and all the other stuff. But how? I thought, this could be done with my AtariMax USB Programmer, but it won´t.

This is my myIDE2 cart.

This happens when I try to dump the cart. Sometimes Sector 0...2 is shown, but then this error occurs.

Try to erase the cart. Always after 5-10 seconds a "User abort". I didn´t touch anything...

The programmer is connected to a standard USB 2.0 port using an Intel chipset mainboard with Intel southbridge for USB and an Intel CPU. Windows 7 64 Bit.

Any ideas? How can I reanimate my cart? And the second one... the user has tried to update the firmware, an errors occurs and since that the cart is not recognized, but computer works well.

Any help welcome.

BR Jurgen

Is your software the latest version.
Dump your MyIDE 2
Tools Option> Convert bin to Atr
then Run the atr via SIO and program the second MyIDE 2

Another idea is to grab the latest SDX449 MyIDE 512k rom from the SpartaDos project page and after modifying the rom with the SDXuser program convert the bin to atr with Maxflash Studio software and burn to the second MyIDE 2 with SIO2PC..
This will not have a menu page but will boot straight to SDX CLI prompt..

Or use my version

This version needs to have the MyIDE 2 128k SDX449 128.ROM modified and added to your CF cards Fat32 partition.

Better not use 3rd party content without the atarimax-fat loader.
You are screwed when you don not have SIO-2-something......

With the fat-loader you can use control-F to re-program/flash your cartridge content.

I also pm-ed you the latest stock 20130303 CPLD-core.

Are you using Windows 10?
Try a USB 2.0 port.

Hi all!

Thanks very much for help. After flashing new the newer CPLD core, the Maxflash programmer was able to dump, erase and program my cart without any problem.

Now I could flash the actual myBIOS and everything works like a charm.

Great!

Thanx, Jürgen
