If it's really 1MBit, then that's only about 125K. Did I miss something? |

AtariMax has two types of flash cards of which the capacity is advertised in Mbit. Thus the Maxflash 1Mbit has a 128 KByte capacity and the Maxflash 8 Mbit has a 1 MByte capacity. Robert |

Don't forget we're talking the Atari here. Carts range from 4 to 16 KB, with a few oddball bank selected carts. So you can put several carts on the 1Mbit cart. The 8Mbit cart would be better if you want various disk conversions. |

I'd hardly say "a few oddball bank selected carts," I'm not sure there's an XE cart out there with as little as 16K, maybe, most XE carts use bank-selecting, and there are a lot more than "a few." Not sure exactly how many, but it's in the dozens at least! |
