Hi!
Is there any detailed technical information available for how to flash 1Mbit and 8Mbit carts?
I created something nice for SIC! carts where people can run an assembler in ROM, and XDOS booted from the Cart too. Next to this, people can save their ramdisk(s) back to the SIC! cart.
I want to modify code now, so it will also work on Atari Max Flash carts. But I can not find detailed information.
Ofcourse I could look into code and extract the procedure, but some technical info would be appreciated.
I couldn't find it; but since Space Harrier has a feature to save highscores into the cart, I guess the information must be available somewhere.
Thanks Marius

Hi Marius,
I will e-mail you the code I used for Ultima 4, it should be a good example of how to write to various parts of the cart.

Hey Steve,
That is great news!
Thanks a lot!
Does this information also apply to 1Mbit carts? (I understand it is different chip, with different specs, but I mean the addresses in Atari memory)
Thx. M.
p.s. If it is finished (my conversion) I will definately post them on the forum here
