Ive downloaded perl & checked with the command prompt "perl -V" to see if it was installed correctly and so far so good :D

Now ive downloaded tasm and extracted the folder in to a folder that I named "TASM", now when I go check to see if it was installed correctly with the command prompt i get this message

'TASM' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner>

Hopefully Steve will be ready to hold my hand and walk me through it  Eric

I'm sure he'll be along to help. If not, I'll come over this weekend and I'll set it up for you (I'm a pro now you know!) *cough-cough*
My fee will be one XE joystick.

Where are you trying to execute TASM from?

TASM does not need to be in your Windows PATH variable, so you should test it by changing to your TASM directory (say C:\TASM) then typing TASM.

After thats done, do the maxflash.pl configuration and then a test build. :)
