Post subject:  Atarimax newbie questions on getting one

Hello,
Wanting to purchase one for my 800xl but a bit confused with the options etc...
I use everdrive carts for a few of my retro consoles
Is there something similar that has sd or compact flash cart you add files games to?

Hi All and Admin & Moderator(s). I too am interested some Atari revival products.
I see the USB cartridge, on this site, But i'm not clear if my Atatri 800XL or 1200XL would allow an external device, such as a Windows PC to act as a hard disk, via that USB port on the cartridge.

Or is there a potentially a cartridge with a web-browser and an RJ45 Ethernet port for web surfing?

Are there any users, with this cartridge development kit in the Seattle WA USA area, for perhaps a local user group?

The USB-cartridge only adds a USB-port to your A8.
You still need to create your own specific driver.

SIO2PC is for connecting to a PC.
APE, the controlling freeware software on PC, then can emulate printer, disk, modem or tape.
