| Post subject: | USB Driver Incompatibility - Windows 11 |
While setting up a new PC with Windows 11 I ran into an incompatibility issue after installing the Maxflash Studio Software (v2.3) and connecting my Maxflash USB Programmer cartridge. Basically, the Atarimax USB driver (usb5200.sys) v1.0.0.7 is incompatible with Windows Security's Core Isolation Memory Integrity feature. This security feature has to be turned off to install the driver and use the Atarimax flash cartridge. Just wondering if there are there any plans to update the Atarimax USB driver to overcome this problem? |

About Windows 11, i dont know. But on Windows 10 i had usb problems. I solved them by connecting my atarimax stuff to an older usb 1.1/2 hub. |

On my older PC which has Windows 10 I didn't have any USB problems. But I guess different hardware (motherboard) etc. can make all the difference. |

I can confirm that using a cheap hub will fix the disconnect issues on Windows 11. It was driving me nuts until I found this thread. Thanks for this post. |

It's been a while and the issue remains, in order to install the MAX Flash Utility under Windows 11 25H2, Memory integrity must be turned off. Are there any updates on getting the drivers updated? |
