One of the games on my cart has 'gone bad' on me. The game is Donkey Kong and when it starts, it either freezes or shows artifacts on the left side of the screen. No other games seem to have problems and the XEGS passes the memory test, so I wonder if maybe the file is corrupt and I wonder if this is a sign of a failing flash.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Does it do it every time the game is loaded?

Yes. Donkey Kong just stopped working one day. I get corruption on the screen and the game freezes. I haven't tried to re-flash the cart yet.

Thats what I was going to suggest, see if re-flashing it fixes it. :)
