Hi there!

Does the APE have Happy Drive emulation? I think it would be very useful to manage de .PRO and .ATX files in order to restore floppy disks into original media.

Regards,

GHFM.

Not really. If you boot a real Happy Drive as D1: and you have images mounted on APE D2: and D3: (for example) then the Happy menu program will recognize them as Happy Drives. (See screen shot attached.) But AFAIK, you can't do anything useful with it. I'm sure that at one time some additional features were planned for the Pro System. It would be great to be able to write out a real disk from a protected image, but that's something for the future (hopefully).

Yeah, I think it would be great that we can write real disks from ATX images. Is it possible to see it in any version of APE?

Regards!

Hi, I still think it would be interesting to have this feature, specially to create real disks from ATX images.

Steve, are you planning to add these features?

Best regards!
