Excuse the poor quality of the video (it's not too bad it you click the 480p setting). Here is an example of how fast SIO transfers can go. This is on an NTSC 130XE with 320KB of RAM (the Peterson mod). I am using Registered APE 3.0.4 with the AtariMax USB SIO2PC interface. Host PC is running Windows 7 64-bit. The machine has a 32-in-1 OS. I am using APE Warp OS r11. Using this OS, the best I can manage is a divisor of 0x03. But since the Copy2000 program uses its own SIO routines, 0x00 is possible. Here I show a single pass copy of a full 180KB disk. The times are posted below.

Gatling Gun
44-1:05                 21 sec for 183K read  = 8.71KB/sec
1:05-1:29                 24 sec for 183K write  = 7.62KB/sec
Combined average = 45 sec for 366K R/W  = 8.13KB/sec
