1. screen shot photo. 2. hope you can see what i'm doing wrong. 3. if i make a second drive D2: i loose the first drive D1: and the only way to get the 1st drive back and all the files i've copied is to remake D1:
4. still can't get into image making.

2Gb card, correct?
Can you make a D2: and image-space, then send me the screenshot you get then? making a second partition D2; type: M 2 65535 D
For images, you need to enter the starting 'n' making a boundary between logical- and image-space. type I 1 <enter>
If possible, send me the first 48 bytes of sector $000000 read with a sector editor on your PC. best is before and after your make D2 and images.
Later,
PS don't worry, you won't loose data, I only need the screen shots. when done, just init ( type: I A ) the card, type: M 1 65535 D and you have the current setting back.

Sorry, yes it was the 2.1gig drive i managed to re-make 3 drives on it, and the same thing happened when i tried the image space again. and if i try the image space to load in a disk from the 1050 nothing happens. the 730mb drive works fine on the pc but not the myide device so i put it away. ive seen the sector editor for download somewhere. i'll get back to you with the sector bytes required. thanks alleyne
