The colors do not slow IDE down. I just write data read or written to the
IDE-port also to the background-color-register. If you disable this feature,
the routine stays the same, it only jumps over the STA BACKGRND.
After IDE-access, during the next NMI, the Atari restores the color from
the background-shadow-register.
I have made this option, since normal SIO give sounds through the TV-
speaker when I/O is busy, and I needed something for IDE-activity. Later
MyIDE models have also the (optional) activity-LED to check I/O.
