Hello All,

Just to keep you informed.

I bought me a cheap USB 2.0 to IDE interface last week and tried
Matthias his tool to transfer disk-images from PC to Atari-formatted
3.5" Drive. All works fine. The new data is read on the MyIDE 100%.

:D

This means, that beside CF or other memory modules, you can now
upload fast atari-disks from PC to your 3.5" drive. I asume it works on
5.25" too. Did not test, since the interface then needs a separate
5 and 12v PSU......

One disadvantage, real drives do not support 8bit mode for 512
byte/sector access. But that is no problem for normal data. For
supporting MyIDE-movies in RGB, I need to change the viewer.

Cheers,
Sijmen.
