Hi JR-

Thanks for the table. I'll have to try this wiring scheme on one. It is also simpler than what I've been using. On my next order with Jameco, I'll pick up a couple of those rotary switches and give that a try.

Actually I misspoke, I meant to say Thumbwheel switch, but there are probably rotary switches that do HEX also. If you just want 8 OS's, those SCSI selection switches on the back of SCSI devices work well too.

I've got one of those SCSI selection switches, I didn't know what I was going to use it for until now!

For an example of the use of rotary switches, look here.
It is my PCB design for an 512-in-1 Atari 2600 cartride that uses two hex rotary switches to select one of the 256 games in a 1MByte eprom.

Hello, you can put small security :

with R4K7 incluse and possibility put Led 3 colors when change OS.

safety prevents the OS Atari change in ON position.
