Which programs were they, and what method were you using:

1. Mr.Atari Image Manager (START)
2. Hias' Myidetool on the PC
3. My Image Manager program

It would be #1 that's the one that comes installed on the MyIDE+Flash IDE Cartridge. I've used before and it ran just fine, now I can't get anywhere with it.

Hi Walter,

You mean to say that a image that was stored and run succesfully,
now won't start? If that is the case, you had a bad write from a
other incompatible Atari system.

What helps most of the time is to re-init the CF-card with FDISK
and use EXACT THE SAME settings as you had. This wil NOT distroy
data, but only rewrites the bootsector of the CF-card. You need
to use the same settings, so the data that is already on the card
still can be found (and is on the same place).

If not, thus a new image won't boot:
-It overwrites part of the MyIDE-locations / disabling it.
or
-Overwrites the MyIDE-OS / uses the standard build-in OS.
Here the internal 4.3E-OS is a solution.

Cheers,
Sijmen.

Quick guess - it looks like something is turning off the IDE device.

Burn the TWO eproms 1200 XL version ;-)

both are 8k, you need to set the jumpers(?) on your mainboard from (masked)ROM to Eprom.

Files are at the STICKY post about the 'new' 4.3 OS .

Cheers,
Sijmen.
