Hi everybody,
did somebody managed to get schreckenstein to work, I have now an internal myide interface with 4.3 firmware. The same for bounty bob and koronis rift and the eidolon, none of those work
I tried the ATR in the image space or as an xex with pico dos

Hello,
That is a good question. The problem is that some games use
illigal entry-points to the original OS and thus locking up with
the new OS. But sometimes it's not the game, but the loader.
Most problems I have seen are with the reset-routine to init the game.
Good games (or loaders) use the vectortable, bad games don't.
Try pressing shift+control+esc after loading.
This will force a soft-reset and some games will start.

Should re-phrase that somebody almost got Schrekenstein completely working....
Try starting a game against the computer and go down into the lower part of the dungeon when the computer player comes around chase and run over him for a while... enjoy the corrupted screen for a while... then enjoy the lock up/crash after that.... I and a few other have tested the theory and it crashes like a charm sooner or later... 15 different NTSC Atari XL XE units proves it...
