I just got a Colecovision Flash cart to go with my 5200 one. I got a new computer at Christmas (Windows 7). The computer can't find either cart when I plug the usb cord into it. It finds my portable hard drive and other devices, but nothing with the carts and the supplied usb cord. Any help?

Thank you!

Do you hear/see the usb insertion notification in Windows when the device is attached? When the cartridge is attached, are there any entries for it, even ones marked 'Unknown Device'?

Does the cartridge still work properly with other computers?

Steve

Nothing, no sound, no unknown device. It can't be the carts. The 5200 one worked fine on my old computer and the Colecovision one I bought tested and working. I'll take it to work and try it there just to make sure - thanks.

They worked on my wife's laptop, so I figured out how to find them manually on my pc. Downloaded the newest drivers and I'm set. Great carts - thank you!

In 2010 most new computers are shipping to retail stores with Windows 7 64 bit installed. Thanks to Atarimax they spent the money to research and develop a 64 bit Windows driver for Windows 7 and Vista.

Click the following link to download a 64 bit Windows driver if your computer is running a 64 bit operating system
