Update FAT32 loader to PRE008.

New keyboard navigation shortcuts in PRE008:

ESC: Returns to FAT32 root directory.
Delete/Backspace: Up to parent directory.
">": Move to end of current directory list
"<": Move to beginning of current directory list
"O": Execute highlighted item with OSB compatibility ROMs, even if not marked "[OSB]".
Left/Right Arrow keys or Left/Right joystick: Page Up/Down in directory listing.
Up/Down Arrow keys or Up/Down joystick: Move selection bar up/down one space.
Joystick Fire Button: Execute highlighted item
Enter/Space: Execute highlighted item

Fixed a small bug with hot-swapping to a slow to spin up CF device like a micro-drive. You should be able to hot-swap CF cards at any time. When the card is removed, the software will ask you to insert a card. When it is inserted, it should be automatically mounted and the root FAT32 directory displayed.

Hi Steve,

Currently testing OSB-games under the R2-rom.
Ran into this "problem".

How do I load a xex without OSB when the filename has [osb] in it.....
Is there a special key for this?

Later!
Sijmen.

Hi Steve,

This is a request
Can you add the functionality of autostart in 10 seconds (or so) of a entry in the flashmenu?
Would be a great option for guys (I wonder for who.... 8) ) who run a BBS and after a power-failure want the system
to restart automaticly.

Later!
Sijmen.

There is already an option to auto-start an item, just select edit->workbook options.

If it really needs to be timed let me know, I'll see if there is room to add such a function to the menu program.

I have added Ctrl+O to force disable OSB functions for a selected item.

Uploading PRE009 now. :-)

Update FAT32 Loader to PRE009.

Added:

Ctrl+O: Force disable OSB functionality for selected item, regardless of filename.

Please note, this build contains the very beginnings of support for ATR images and may be unstable. Stick to PRE008 for now unless you are interested in testing stuff.

The ATR functionality is currently restricted to:

720 Sector SS/SD disk images.
Read only.
Must play nice with the OS being in RAM.

Using MyBIOS for disk images is a much better way to load disk images, using the image space. The FAT32 loader will always just be a convenient item for quickly playing a few ATR games that are compatible with having the OS in RAM and don't need to save changes to disk.

Hi Steve,

Downloaded and testing......
Seems that I have found the problem with R2-rom not being OSB-compatible.
The OS itself is compatible to OSB, but the powerup-routine does some weird stuff.
I though I had figured it out nicely by now, but the BASICF is making troubles.
When I skipp the BASICF-criteria (as test) OSB games work on the R2 rom :D

Ok, back testing, more later (this year?)

Grtz!
Sijmen.

[edit]
Just been testing the ATR-loading support, very cool.
I'm impressed

Update FAT32 Loader to PRE010.

Additions in this version:

Pressing 'S' will sort or re-sort the currently loaded directory.
Added support for ATR images up to 512kB, either single or double density.
Added support for ATR images that require BASIC. Files should be tagged "[basic]", "[bas]" or "-bas" in the filename.
Added support for "-osb" tag in filename, in addition to "[osb]"
Added support for MyIDE-II native ROM images up to 512kB. (must have file extension .rom)
Added support for 16kB cartridge ROM images (must end in .rom and be exactly 16kB)
Added support for 8kB ROM images (must end in .rom)
Added a disk loading indicator at the bottom of the screen when ATR images are accessing the disk device.

A zip file with test images/games is attached.

That's all the updates for awhile. I have to start worrying about my final semester in the next couple days.

Happy New Year!

Steve
