Many people have been wondering what the hell happened to the PC Xformer
upgrade that was supposed to be released last month and have been
sending me nasty email. Let me explain.

First of all, my company Branch Always Software now has a new name:

    EMULATORS, INC!

We also have a new web page at:

    http://www.emulators.com/

Most of the delay in introducing the new versions has been due to delays
in getting the domain name registered, getting our internet provider to
get their act together, and getting the new company together.

Unlike Branch Always Software which only dealt in Atari 8-bit an Atari
ST emulators, Emulators Inc. will develop and market non-Atari emulators
as well.

As far as PC Xformer goes, two new upgrades are in the works:

PC Xformer 3.6 is an upgrade to the DOS version of Xformer that most of
you already use. A new demo version of PC Xformer 3.6 will also be made
available on the new web site starting next week. PC Xformer 3.6 will be
in stores later in September.

PC Xformer 4.0 (a.k.a. Xformer 96) is the new Windows version of
Xformer. Although it is not ready to ship yet, we will be posting
"as-is" beta versions of it on our web page for you to try and give
feedback on. Xformer 96 should be in stores in the next few months.

Those of you with Atari ST computers will also be interested in the new
Gemulator demo which will also be available on the web page starting
September 3. So hope to see you there.

By the way, does anyone know what the status is of the So. California
show that was scheduled for Sep. 21? I'd love to come down and demo the
new products but I haven't heard anything first about that show or any
other show coming up. If you have any info about upcoming shows send me
an email.
