WHAT ARE SOME OF THE SPECIAL XIO COMMANDS? 
I MEAN LIKE FORMAT COMMANDS AND COMMANDS THAT WRITE SPECIAL
DOS FILES LIKE DOS.SYS AND DUP.SYS AND THINGS LIKE THAT.

        There isn't room here to duplicate much of that information.  you      
should get ahold of a good reference
such as THE ATARI BASIC REFERENCE MANUALor SAMS PROGRAMMER'S GUIDE TO ATARI.
        To tantalize you into finding
out more, I can say that:
If used properly, XIO 18 will fill a
graphic-screen outline, and XIO 254 willformat a disk.
