Article #124 (419 is last): Newsgroups: freenet.sci.comp.atari.questions From: ab170 Subject: XM301 Program Date: Sun Jul 30 09:25:03 1989 I bought a modem, the XM301, when it first came out. There was no documentation about controlling it through BASIC by XIO commands or the such. Is there any way to operate it through BASIC or ML readily? Tom Lekan ab170 ** Answered by JOHN SUCHY (aa271) on Sat Jun 27 01:55:33 1987 ** See my comments about 1030's & handlers (especially R: type). The major functional difference in the XM301 is the auto-answer ability. If you don't need that, any program designed for the 1030 will work on the XM301. Your Co-sysop John E. Suchy aa271 Thanks for asking.
