Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a greater variety of memory
upgrades for the xegs system. I have the 128k (130xe compat)
upgrade but wish for more. I upgraded my 800 to 288k by building
a little daughter board for one of the ram cards and it works
great with MyDos 4.5. I have also upgraded my 130xe to 320k by
adding 8) 256k x 1 ramchips to bank #2 and doing some rewiring.
When I looked into the xegs, I was horrified to find that they
didn't follow the same arrangement as in the 800xl or 65xe. It
looks as though they are using a 64k x 8 RAM chip ... there
are none of the 64k x 1 chips in sight!

Anyone have any ideas? I got the machine (working order with power
supply) at a hamfest for $5.00!!! What a bargain ... I love this
country....

Bill
