|My XE SYSTEM (65k bytes-game machine) has a plug to output audio
|but it's also putting out a very high frequency (about 50k or
|higher). Is there a filter or another way to stop this?

Well, 50KHz is a tad high to be heard my most human ears, but yet
can still be a problem. A high cut filter should do the job well....

It would look something like this.......

   In -----------/\/\/\/\--------------Out
                        ____|____
                        ---------
                         ___|____
                        / / /

        But this might be it......

        In---------------|-----------Out
                      ___|___
                      -------
                     ____|____
                    / / /

The value of the parts would vary due to out put Z.
