Article #345 (419 is last): From: ah292@cleveland.Freenet.Edu (Robert Krynak) Newsgroups: freenet.sci.comp.atari.questions Subject: will a IBM HD work on my ST? Reply-To: ah292@cleveland.Freenet.Edu (Robert Krynak) Posted-By: xx004 (aa789 - Bruce D. Nelson) Edited-By: xx004 (aa789 - Bruce D. Nelson) There is an IDE controller for the ST available in Europe, but to the best of my knowledge, it's not available in the USA yet. I believe, though, it was on the expensive side, even if you could get one. The "standard" ST disk configuration is a SCSI drive with an ICD (or maybe an old Supra) ST-to-SCSI adaptor. But the price and availability of those IDE drives sure look attractive. It would be nice if those adaptors became available in the USA.
