Subject: STAR SG-10 PRINTER
Date: Sun Jul 30 09:14:22 1989

WHAT IS INVOLVED WITH UPGRADING MY SG-10 TO A 6K INTERNAL BUFFER?.
THE MANUAL INDICATES THAT ONE OF THE DIP SWITCH WILL "tell"
THE PRINTER THAT THE UPGRADE EXISTS. IS THE UPGRADE A BOARD, OR
JUST AN ADDITIONAL CHIP, OR A REPLACEMENT CHIP?###

        THE 16K UPGRADE IS AVAILABLE
FROM STAR AND, ACCORDING TO THE MANUAL,
IS A PC BOARD. IF YOU ARE ELECTRONIC-
ALLY INCLINED, YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO
MAKE YOUR OWN BOARD USING THE SAM'S
PHOTOFACTS FOLDER THAT IS NOW AVAILABLE
FOR THE SG-10.
