DCM2ATR is now available via ftp from for DOS
users or for
UNIX users.

A important bug was fixed that is likely causing corrupted images, it
is important that you grab this and update your version. The bug will
not damage your disk, or the original files, but it will create
worthless disk images, and I hate to think that someone is out there
getting pissed off because none of these archives work.

So please grab the latest version, I am not sure if this has been an
inherent bug in the program and has just been discovered or if it was
created with 1.3, but this is the first I have heard of it, and thanks
to Mike White ( it was fixed, and he also
provided the new routine to fix the problem, which I have no idea why
I didn't approach it the way he did. That is one of the reasons I
like to make source code available to the public, they can see things
that I may not.

Grab the latest version, 1.4, and Mike has also said that he will be
providing an Macintosh version, so if your interested in a Macintosh
version then follow-up to this thread and he will probably get
involved. His version is based on 1.3 with his bug fix so it is
essentially version 1.4 but is a Mac version, I am going to provide
the program also at the same ftp site, probably as: for
Macintosh users. Please get ahold of it and you may send me reports
of bugs, and I will probably forward them to him, if they relate to
the Macintosh, but with version 1.5, hopefully, I will have a version
that will compile under Macintosh based on code written by Mike, but
this bug was so important that I could wait to incorporate it and join
the two as version 1.4.

(that archive may not be available, for Mac, right away, so if you
can't find it, check back in a day or so, I will probably have it on
after an hour or so of the time stamp on this message)
