Greetings from American Techna-Vision. Some Atari users with a long
memory will recall our 1984 ads declaring an ATARI PARTS BONANZA. And
indeed we had the largest stock of Atari replacement parts on the
planet (and we still do).
Now I know that this is an Atari newsgroup, and that plenty of my
customers have moved on to join the mainstream PC world, however you
used to love purchasing our replacement parts to build you own
computer. So for those of you who have the technical skill or desire to
construct their own POWERFUL 486DX-66 IBM COMPATIBLE PERSONAL
COMPUTER, consider the following offer:
We just received a huge shipment of NEW first quality 486DX
MOTHERBOARDS. The MOTHERBOARD usually is the second most expensive item
inside a PC after the HARD DRIVE. These boards are complete with
AMIBIOS version 486DX ISA. They are configured to run the popular
486DX-66 CPU's that are available at a very reasonable prices from
INTEL, CYRIX or AMD. Board can also run the 486DX-33. If you change a
crystal, you can run a wide variety of older 486 CPU's. In short,
these boards are tested and ready to run with the addition of 30 pin
SIMM memory and CPU.
The motherboards are complete with installation manual, and for those
who require it, we can include detailed instructions. Boards have 7
ISA slots. The good news? ISA cards are VERY inexpensive right now.
Now for the price:

OPTI-486 MOTHERBOARD . . . . $43.95 ea. Or (2) for $79.00

For quantities over 100 pieces call for pricing.

These boards would be an excellent use for those CPU's, RAM etc, left
over from upgrades. So, if you would like to build a computer for
hundreds instead of thousands, consider our offer. Oh, by the way we
still have plenty of Atari parts.
Power Transformers for 800/400/1200XL/1050/XF551 etc . . . $4.50 ea.
Power Supply for 800XL/600XL/130XE/XEGS . . . $7.50 ea.
13 Pin Serial cable (SIO), 3 feet . . . $1.50 ea. Or (10) for $10.00
Replacement mechanic assembly for 1050 . . . $9.50 ea.
Printer Interface for all 8-bit models . . . . . . . . .$9.95 ea.
