Check out October 1988

Actually, the code in there is a little misleading, due to all the
mysterious machine language routines, which lead you to believe he is
doing something special to the XEP80.
Look forward to the premiere issue which will have the real beef on
an easy way to do this, plus a complete BASIC listing that
loads a Graphics 8 or 7+ file, displays it on the XEP80, and then goes
to a print dump routine.

Oh, and I made sure Freenet Atari 8 bit sig was properly credited as the
source of your original post.
